The last of seven promises that Dennis Baylor makes to the constituents of the 125th Legislative District:
As your state Representative, I’ll work to convene a limited constitutional convention, to enable the people to reform their government’s structure, while protecting the rights of the individual.
Mr. Baylor’s first campaign principle is to support Pennsylvania citizens in holding a constitutional convention. He testified before the Senate State Government Committee to fight for a constitutional convention, and suggested reforms to state government in reaction to the illegal midnight Legislative payraise and unfair redistricting. He believes that the public has both the right and the obligation to enact changes when they see fit, without which “they will remain unprotected from future failures of government.” Read his March 26,2007 testimony on his website.
